I couldn't be anymore disappointed with the fashion at this year's 2012 BET Awards. I feel like most of the women on the red carpet either tried way too hard, or didn't try hard enough when it came to getting dressed up. Normally we can look to Kerry Washington or Taraji P. Henson to wow us on the red carpet but tonight both ladies missed the mark. While they didn't look bad by any means, they certainly underwhelmed me in their safe and casual choices. But some ladies who did step it up a bit were Lala Anthony, singers Monica and Melanie Fiona and supermodel Selita Ebanks. 

However, there were two ladies who thankfully showed up and saved the day! That would be Beyonce and Kim Kardashian. They showed up to the ceremony fashionably late and ditched the red carpet cameras altogether. But they were sitting front row, looking stunning, beside their equally stylish men Kanye West & Jay-Z!
