Award season has officially kicked off with tonight's 69th Annual Golden Globes. This year I was really blown away with all of the red carpet looks. I have put together a very lengthy list of just about everyone who walked the red carpet. Including the good, the bad, and the ugly! Honestly there weren't that many bad dressed celebs...just a few disappointing looks. Such as Mila Kunis, Emma Stone and Michelle Williams; They usually look so stunning but tonight they were very boring and safe. And I have mixed feelings on Lea Michele's sexy Marchesa number. But she was on trend with her mermaid silhouette, as was Sofia Vergara and many others. Another popular trend on the red carpet was sexy back cutouts! Which are always my favorite. But when it comes to best dressed, no-one could top the beautiful Charlize Theron. Although Angelina Jolie was a close second. Fashionista Alexa Chung appeared on the Jimmy Fallon show the other night, wearing Marc Jacobs, and talked about her new show 24 Hour Catwalk. Now it's about time this girl got her own fashion television show! I know she had a talk show before but this is so much better suited for her, I don't know what took them so long...The show premiered last night on Lifetime and I was excited to watch after seeing this interview with Fallon. Sadly, I found the show to be a bit boring! But it was the first episode and hopefully it will only get better.

Courtney Cox vs. Kate Moss both in Lanvin: I'm not crazy about the print but I like it on both of them. They each styled it differently but it works for both ladies.

Emma Stone vs. Kim Perry both in Bottega Veneta: Hands down Emma Stone! Kim completely jacked her look, even the handbag, and made it look worse! If you're going to copy someone at least do it right!

Eva Longoria vs. Victoria Beckham both in VB: The dress looks good on both of them. However overall Eva's look is better but Victoria has the better colored dress.

I feel like this post is long overdue but better late than never I guess. I wanted to share with you all a few of my favorite things I have in my closet. But first I have to say thanks to Polyvore who actually hooked me up with these amazing items! I joined their website almost two years ago and I do not regret it one bit. On Christmas day I was lucky enough to be featured in their Member Spotlight; where they showcased some of my sets and even mentioned my two blogs. So needless to say, the people at Polyvore have been very good to me--especially in 2011--and here are some of the best gifts I have received from them!

Giuseppe Swarovski Crystal Slingbacks

I know all girls love Christian Louboutin but my personal favorite shoe designer is Giuseppe! I waited months to get these shoes and I am still in shock that they are actually mine. However, they are so beautiful and expensive that I am actually afraid to wear them lol! And I don't know how celebs do it because they are sky high, I really need to practice my walk!

Marc Jacobs 'Rio' Handbag

I love, love, love Marc Jacobs so I was very thrilled to get this purse! The detailing is so beautiful and I'm a sucker for anything with exposed zippers. But because of all the zippers, studs, and material this purse is super heavy! But I still love it.

Tacori Black Onyx Ring

This was probably one of the coolest and most exciting gifts I have received from Polyvore. Only because I was able to work with the people at Tacori and have it specially fitted since the ring was hand made for me! It took a while for them to finish but it was definitely worth the wait!

For the February issue she was shot by David Slijper and styled by Anne-Marie Curtis in looks from Jonathan Saunders, Dolce Gabbana and Louis Vuitton. And she also sports those amazing flame heels from Prada's S/S 2012 collection! Also, I have to mention her makeup artist for the shoot, Sally Branka, who gave her the perfect red lips!

I cannot even begin to tell you guys how excited I am that this show is finally, finally premiering tomorrow night! The promo for It's A Brad, Brad World has been playing non-stop on Bravo lately and I get more and more excited each time the commercial airs. So if you're a fan of Brad check out the show tomorrow! At first I was disappointed to see him leave the Rachel Zoe Project but I'm curious to see if he can hold a show on his own. And if you're not familiar with Mr. Bow-Tie Brad and his style, you can check out some of his best looks from over the years.

You left working for Rachel Zoe to break out on your own as a stylist. It's a pretty big undertaking. Had you thought about establishing yourself in the field before letting the cameras follow you?

Well, you know, initially I didn't want to. I wanted to focus on getting my portfolio together, which I did. About six months after I went out on my own, I got a lot of emails about meeting with people and such. I initially wanted to do a makeover show. Then, when I met with Shed Media, the production company for the show, they loved the idea of a makeover show, but they thought what people liked so much about me on Rachel show was me going through my firsts — my first Oscars, my first triumphs, my first failures. We decided that it was an exciting time in my life and that it might be interesting and worthwhile to continue letting people see what I was up to. We thought it would be interesting to show somebody who was not necessarily at the top of their game but was climbing their way to get there and the struggles that entails. Also, I was very much interested in showing the complete other side of my life, which is my personal life and my family life — aspects they weren't introduced to on Rachel's show.--LA Times

Here is a look back at some of the best and most popular looks and trends of 2011...

Sequin Gowns: Some of my favorites were Kerry Washington in Zuhair Murad & Angelina Jolie in Versace.

Leather Minis: One of my favorites was Blake Lively in Gucci Resort.

Color Blocking: In general Gucci made color blocking very trendy this year, but the combination of Pink & Orange was the most popular.

Peplum Dresses: The particular silhouette style has been around for decades but became popular once again in 2011. My personal favorite was Dianna Agron's Stella McCartney dress & everyone loved Emma Stone's Giambattista ensemble.

Menswear: All of the girls of Hollywood were suited up this year but only a few pulled it off nicely. Rihanna stunned everyone with this chic and sexy all white suit by Max Azria.

Houndstooth Print: The most popular Houndstooth dress had to be Salvatore Ferragamo's-- Lady Gaga, Kim Kardashian, Jessica Hart, and many others all wore the same exact one!

Neon Colors: I have never seen a cuter dress than Emma Watson's Marchesa neon mini! Actually I loved all of these bold and brave neon looks, especially Michael Kors collection.

Sheer Gowns: This was probably my favorite trend of the year and Gucci & Gabbana dominated the red carpet with their sexy sheer looks!

Polka Dots: I never expected Polka Dots to become so popular but they did, thanks to Stella McCartney who added a little sex appeal to the usually juvenile print.

Bold Prints: Stars, Cats, Horses, Flowers, and Tribal prints were some of the most popular prints of the year. Once again Gabbana proved to be very popular & trendy with its many star covered dresses and floral/animal combo.

Red Jeans: Aren't just for rockers and skaters anymore but fashionista's too. I loved this trend because you could dress it up or down and still look fab!

This year everyone wanted to be a red-head! And quite honestly I think the color is gorgeous--if I could pull it off I would probably dye my hair red too! Hollywood has its well known, natural red-headed ladies like, Lindsay Lohan, Isla Fisher, Adele, Marcia Cross, and Christina Hendricks. But ladies with faux red-hair, like Emma Stone, are becoming very popular too. Here is a list of some celebs who daringly went red in 2011. Let me know who you think pulled it off the best!

One of the chicest and simplest trends that I am loving right now are detachable collars. Which were pretty popular on the Miu Miu and Louis Vuitton runways. And they have translated quite well into everyday fashion. Lots of stores like ASOS, Topshop, and Net-a-Porter are now selling them, however some can be a bit pricey! That's why I found a few DIY projects where you can easily achieve the same look.
