This girl was meant to be a model, just look at her name. Her mother named her after her favorite designer and one of the most iconic African-American models in the industry. Despite not knowing who Iman was, Chanel Iman always aspired to become a model. And she has come a long way since Tyra Banks introduced her just 3 years ago on The Tyra Show. Chanel took part and won third place in Ford Model's Supermodel of the World 2006, and ended up signing with the agency. She walked down the runway for the first time in the Fall/Winter 2006 season for Anna Sui, Derek Lam, Marc Jacobs, and Proenza Schouler shows in New York. Since then she has modelled for many top designers. Today she is signed to four major modeling agencies, Ford, Viva, D'management, & Victoria's Secret and has appeared in editorials for American, Spanish, Italian, Korean, & Teen Vogue, Allure, V Magazine, i-D and Harper's Bazaar.
Here are some of my favorite pictures, I know most people are used to seeing her all cheery & smiley faced but I wanted to show her more edgier side
