This was a perfect way to start the show. This tribute to Aretha Franklin was amazing and Christina Aguilera definitely killed her part! I really hope this shuts people up for a little while because so many people have been putting down Christina lately....but this proves how great and talented she really is. Jennifer Hudson and the other ladies were amazing as well. And I was very impressed by Florence! Some of the other night's performances were a bit underwhelming but I loved this one.
