When it comes to Celebrity Street Style, Jessica Alba is one of the best dressed ladies out there. She can make the most casual outfit look chic and stylish. Whether she is dressing up or dressing down, she makes any look effortlessly stunning. Have a look at some of her best outfits from this past month.
I love a guy with style and a good fashion sense, and he definitely has both! Men's fashion can be so boring and monotonous sometimes and I love how Clive Owen switched it up with this velvet blazer. He looked very dapper at the 2010 GQ Magazine Awards in Madrid, Spain last week and surely stood out from all the other handsome men in tuxes.
I know this style is like totally 80's but I really want an acid washed denim jacket! Ever since I saw Kim Kardashian with this jacket last year, back when she was a blonde, I have wanted one of my own. I used to be really into jean jackets but over the last couple of years I kind of gave them a little break. And now I think they will be perfect for my summer wardrobe.
And after seeing Christina Aguilera in these John Eshaya Jet Acid Wash jeans recently, I think I want to buy a pair of these too! They're really cute--what do you think?
Lately I have taken notice to Ryan Gosling and his style. I love how it's easy and casual-- but still sharp & somewhat dressy without trying too hard. I don't know what it is but I think he looks pretty good and I love it when guys dress in this sort of fashion.
Studs seem to be popping up on everything from jackets, boots, handbags, and even accessories like gloves and sunglasses. I really like this trend because it's very edgy but still cute and accessible enough to rock everyday. Just about every celeb has given into this trend this year, including men and women. But I really think Mary-Kate Olsen took it to another level with these extremely large studs on her Givenchy leather jacket. She wore it way back in 2008 to a fashion show in Paris, proving that she is a true trendsetter.
Hayden Panettiere and her boxer boyfriend went on a movie date night and she looked very sharp and chic from head to toe. Normally I wouldn't recommend dressing so similar to your bf, but the bold masculine style looks great on her. I really love it and it's so different from her usual looks.
Sometimes celebs look even better when they dress down and aren't all glammed up. Charlize Theron is such a beautiful woman and I think she looks just as amazing here than she does on the red carpet.
Today was Jay-Z and Beyoncés 2nd wedding anniversary! They celebrated last night by dining at Italian restaurant, Nello in the Upper East Side and then saw the Broadway musical, Chicago. I guess they really enjoyed the show because the Mr. and Mrs. also posed with the cast backstage afterwards. And I must say that Beyoncé looked very cute in her pink tweed jacket, but could you really imagine Jay-Z at a Broadway musical lol?! Congrats to the two- they're like my favorite celeb couple.
And of course here goes the rundown on her fit:
Over-sized Grey Ant Status Sunglasses ($250), Pink Chanel Tweed jacket, Christian Louboutin “Maggie” pumps ($930), Wild Fox Couture Chain and Locked Heart T-shirt, and shorts by True Religion ($172)
Even when celebs dress down it's still so expensive!
Ps. In other marriage news, Rihanna supposedly got engaged this weekend to her professional baseball player BF, Matt Kemp..but who knows!
At the NY premiere of Why Did I Get Married Too? Janet wore a dark navy Alexander McQueen ruffled jacket paired with harem pants and a belt. At first I loved this outfit but the more I looked at it, the more I wish she didn't wear the harem pants, and maybe a pencil skirt or something more fitting. But that's just my opinion. Either way she looks good and I have been enjoying her fashion choices lately!
Janet Jackson on Alexander McQueen
“[McQueen was the] very first fashion show I ever went to. He invited me to his show in the late 1990s in London. I’ve always been a fan of his.”
“To me, there are certain ones, you have your [Karl Lagerfeld at] Chanel, Givenchy, McQueen, Galliano, it’s those guys that fall right in that.”
This jacket is from the mens Pre-Collection Spring Summer 2010 lookbook. Lately the jacket has been sported by Chris Brown and Diddy and it's one of my favorite pieces from the collection. Not all high-end fashion designers can create a look that works for the average guy, but this jacket will look good on anyone (for $1,870)! I just wish they made one for girls....
