The genius of the late great Alexander McQueen will be celebrated by the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute this Spring, the famed New York institution has revealed. The exhibit, titled 'Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty,' will be open to the public starting today, May 4 to July 31 and was the focus of the recent Met's annual Costume Institute Gala.
The pieces in the exhibit will include approximately 100 garments from McQueen's 19-year career, starting with his postgraduate collection at Central Saint Martins in 1992, all the way up to his final runway presentation that was shown in Paris less than a month after his February 11, 2010 suicide.--(s)

This is a very tough choice, but who wore it better? Cameron Diaz wore this Alexander McQueen dress first back in 2009 at the Golden Globe Awards. She was the last to arrive on the red carpet so all eyes and cameras were on her in this form fitting satin dress. And Kate Middleton's Maid of Honor, little sister Pippa, also had all eyes on her when she wore the same dress to the Royal Wedding. For her dress however she opted for an ivory and lace version, with dozens of buttons down her back. And she looked great too. People are talking about her dress just as much as her sister's wedding gown!
