NEW YORK, September 15, 2010, Marchesa Presentation by Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig. With Celebrity guests, Jessica Szohr, Kelly Brook, Tinsley Mortimer, Olivia Palermo and Kelly Osbourne.
Hands down, Christian Siriano has to be the most successful winner and contestant from Project Runway! I have to say that I honestly love him and it's so great to see him grow within the fashion world. Here is his Spring 2011 shoe collection and can you believe that they were exclusively designed for Payless!!! Can't wait to get a pair of my own, especially since they will be retailing for $60!
Elegant but very effortless. Olivia sure knows how to dress and accessorize at that. I love how she pulled the whole look together with little touches of gold. Great style!
I love Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen, so I was so glad to see them do the Ellen show-- considering that they are so low-key and private!
This weekend Rihanna hit up Las Vegas to help her best friend, Katy Perry, celebrate her bachelorette party. Judging from all the pictures it looks like they had a great time! Even though it was Katy's weekend, Rihanna totally stole the show in this lwd. Rihanna wore this very cute dress by Hervé Léger (Fall 2010 RTW) while attending the "KA" show by Cirque du Soleil at the MGM Grand Hotel/Casino. And she topped off the whole look with nude Louboutins!
Finally here is a photoshoot of Nicki Minaj that I can appreciate. She is always so over-the-top and extra animated, with the funny big voices and crazy wigs, that it is very refreshing to see her strip all that away for the Complex October/November issue.

Complex: Everyone has this image of you as a cartoon character with outlandish wigs, but at our shoot today you were much more low-key.
Nicki Minaj: [Laughs.] Every woman is a character—but people need to see I'm a regular human. It's like you wear a pink wig and you're no longer human all of sudden. You're a thing. Like today [the photographer] was like, "Where is that Nicki Minaj smile?" But this shoot doesn't call for the Nicki Minaj smile. You guys wanted me subdued, so I'm gonna give you a different side. I'm not gonna pull a string and be like, "It's Barbie, bitch!"
This time I have to give the look of the day to little miss Carey Mulligan. How could I not, she is so adorable and looked amazing in this LBD. Her dress is from the Elie Saab Fall 2010 collection and she wore it to the "Never Let Me Go" movie premiere in NY last week. I am such a sucker for lace and black, so I am very much in love with this dress!
Yes, that is actually the name of a wonderful magazine that I came across the other night. It's a little monthly blurb that is published with the Financial Times Weekend Edition but not too long ago they finally started an on-line version! It literally has everything--from fashion, to cars, to food, to real-estate...to well, everything! Including this beautiful spread, Ahead of the Curve shot by photographer Andrew Yee, featuring model Jenny Sweeney. Enjoy!
