I am so sad and shocked to learn that Karl Lagerfeld has died today. I always felt like he was one of those people who would live on for forever. But he will always be an icon and he most definitely will never be forgotten. His memory and creativity will always live on thanks to all the beautiful things he created over the years.

Beyoncé landed the cover of Vogue's iconic and highly coveted "September Issue" and I think that dress B wore to the MET Gala earlier this year may have influenced Anna Wintour's decision!

Kim K finally got her wish, all thanks to her man Kanye West and his good friend Anna Wintour! Kim Kardashian has been begging for years to grace the cover of Vogue and now she has landed April issue.

How cute is David Beckham...I mean baby Harper?

Spielberg's blessing, and you can publish software without Bill Gates's blessing, but you can't succeed in fashion without Anna's blessing"....
I loved this dress when I saw Halle Berry step out on to the red carpet...I just don't know if I liked it for a big award ceremony such as the Golden Globes. She wore this Nina Ricci dress this past Sunday while Bee Schaffer (the daughter of "Vogue" editor-in-chief Anna Wintour) wore the same bustier gown, in navy, two years ago at the 2009 Costume Institute Gala. Really both ladies look great but what I don't understand is who let Halle Berry wear a dress that debuted two years ago! Good thing she rocked it better though or that would have been a real fashion disaster. I think her shoes and jewelry looked better than Bee's but what's your opinion on the two looks?
On a rainy evening in New York, Tom Ford welcomed a select few editors and guests to his Madison Avenue boutique for a secret preview of his womenswear relaunch. The ultra-exclusive and secret show happened back in September in NYC and features Beyonce, along with Chanel Iman, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Anja Rubik, and Liya Kebede, who all strutted down the runway of Tom Ford’s Spring/Summer 2011 fashion show! Also modeling Tom’s gorgeous creations were actresses Lauren Hutton and Julianne Moore (s). Ford explained that he chose "women that inspired him" to model the clothes, and Terry Richardson (his go-to campaign photographer) documented the entire event! (s)
Bravo to Carey Mulligan for challenging a fashion god! She and Anna Wintour both wore this sleeveless animal-print frock by Lanvin and I wonder who do you think wore it better? Anna wore hers first to the Michael Kors runway show during New York Fashion Week, while Carey wore hers just last week. For this one, I think it may be a tie! I do like how the dress fits Carey Mulligan better but I don't like the color of her YSL pumps and her bib necklace is too chunky...As for Anna Wintour I love her metallic kitten heels but I think it would have looked even better with a belt! Either way I still think both ladies look great.
November has been a busy month for designers and fashionistas! Last week the 7th annual CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards was held in New York City at SOHO; and I am still in awe over some of the dresses that walked down the red carpet! As usual Blake Lively and Kim Kardashian did not disappoint. Take a look at who else made it to the event and who was lucky enough to be accompanied by a popular designer!

On Thursday WWD kicked off its 100th anniversary festivities with a cocktail party at Bergdorf Goodman for their book “WWD: 100 Years, 100 Designers.” The big birthday celebration then continued on Nov. 2 with a major bash at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York. Designers, models, fashionistas, and fashion icons were all in attendance at the Women's Wear Daily 100 Anniversary Gala and this is one event that I totally wish I was invited to! Take a look at who all walked the red carpet that night. (s)
