I'm not surprised at all that David Beckham was named People's Sexiest Man Alive. Because, let's face it, he totally deserves it. I'm more surprised to find out that he never won the title in previous years!!! What took them so long, he's so hot! He has a great style, an amazing body, and he's such a wonderful husband and father. In other words, he's perfect. But I guess it's better late than never--cheers for getting it right this year People magazine.

The biggest bachelor in Hollywood finally got married and here is the picture to prove it! His beautiful bride, Amal, wore a custom Oscar de la Renta French lace wedding gown and of course he wore Giorgio Armani. Out of all the celebrity weddings that have taken place this year, this is the one I would have loved to attended. Everything about their Italian wedding was beautiful and pure perfection! I really like these two together and I think he found the right girl finally.

It may have taken a couple of years but Jessica Simpson finally got married! She and Eric wed on the 4th of July and we now get to see her wedding photos, courtesy of People magazine. Her dress was custom made by Carolina Herrera and she looked stunning!
Surprise, surprise-- Lupita Nyong'o was chosen as People's Magazine Most Beautiful Woman! This is her first time on the list and she beat out 49 other gorgeous celebs, including Gwyneth Paltrow and Julia Roberts. Other than Halle Berry, I think Lupita may only be the 2nd Black woman to grace the cover of this issue...but Halle has appeared the most on the list at 16 times!
On being named People‘s Most Beautiful:
“It was exciting and just a major, major compliment. I was happy for all the girls who would see me on it and feel a little more seen.”
On what she used to think ideal beauty was:
“Light skin and long, flowing, straight hair. Subconsciously you start to appreciate those things more than what you possess.”
On her favorite thing:
“When I have been called beautiful with not one drop of makeup on. And also before I comb my hair or put on a pretty dress. Happiness is the most important thing.”
Surprise surprise, looks like the rumors were true after all! Adam Levine of Maroon 5 was just named by People magazine as the Sexiest Man Alive of 2013. He totally deserves it too, I've been saying he was hot for years now!
