In case you didn't know, this week was the 10th Anniversary of Gossip Girl! All these years later and I still miss it, especially the cast. Here is a flashback to two of their sexiest and most popular photoshoots!
Because I couldn't wait till Friday to post this look! It's so cute and so chic, and it totally reminds me of Blake Lively's Gossip Girl days! Normally I love everything she wears because she is a true style icon in my eyes. But this outfit, the SemSem jacket & Louboutin heels, I totally want for myself!
Here is James Franco on Letterman
Also, check out Ed Westwick on the new Queen Latifah show! Seeing him really made me miss Gossip Girl so so much!
And as a little bonus, here is the handsome Josh Bowman of Revenge also on the Queen Latifah show. Who has the better accent him or Ed?
Well, tonight is the night! This will be the very last episode of Gossip Girl and I am very sad. One good thing to come from tonight's series finale however will be the big reveal of the gossip girl herself.....Any guesses? Not only that but the final episode will be a 2 hour special and I don't want to miss a minute of it. I admit the last couple of seasons of GG haven't been the greatest but I feel like they really stepped it up for the last few episodes. Which really makes it even sadder to see it go. I remember for years I hated the show but I finally gave in and fell in love with it after just one episode!
So here is a look back at some of the promo posters from the different seasons. You can really see how much the cast has evolved! Good bye Serena, Blair, and all you stylish Upper Eastsiders!
Watching Gossip Girl tonight will be a bittersweet moment for me. While I'm glad that the show if finally returning for a new season, I am also very sad and disappointed that this will be the last and final season of Gossip Girl. What am I going to do without the drama and gossip (and fashion) of my favorite Upper Eastsiders? Well, at least now we can finally learn who the real Gossip Girl is! Will you guys be watching tonight?
Blake Lively once again covers Marie Claire magazine for its July 2012 issue. For the cover shot she wears a Balmain tuxedo dress, while striking a pose in some ensembles by Dolce & Gabbana and Jenny Packham for the inside pages. And I couldn't wait to see this whole spread ever since getting a sneak-peak of it on last week's Fashion Police on E. This is Blake's 5th or 6th cover for the mag and I can see why she is one of their favorite covergirls! She looks so stunning!
On whether there’s someone who helps her with her look: “My assistant will call fashion houses for me, but I always pick the outfit, shoes, jewelry, and a lot of times I do my own hair and makeup for events. Sometimes I think, God, why do I do this to myself? It’s so much extra work!”
On why she doesn’t seek additional help: “Because I love fashion. It’s such an expression of self. I often see people and they look great, but I can identify who styled them. Every stylist has a signature. Maybe it sounds jerky, but I’m lucky to be on such a fashion-centric show [Gossip Girl]. There’s no designer I don’t have access to.”
The beautiful Blake Lively covers the Summer 2012 issue of Bullett magazine. For the mag she models a few gorgeous gowns by Chanel, Lanvin, Prada, and Cushnie et Ochs for the cover. But enough about the fashion...let's talk about something more serious involving Blake and her career. Now, am I the last to know that my favorite show Gossip Girl is ending!? After watching the season finale a few weeks ago I started to hear rumors about the next season being its last and I guess they weren't rumors after all. Blake even addresses the shows cancellation in her interview, have a look.
On the series finale of Gossip Girl: “I think the best way to describe it is like someone who really enjoyed high school, and is like, I’m a senior and I can’t wait for the next thing! Gossip Girl was so great, but what’s the next challenge in life? Because, you know, six years is a long time. And as an actor who plays a caricature of myself on the show, I don’t think I’d say, Watch Gossip Girl for my best quality of work. But I am very lucky to have had that experience.”
Tonight is the big night! Not only is it Gossip Girl's 100th episode, it's also the big wedding for Blaire & Prince Louis. You can see her and her lovely bridesmaids all dressed in stunning Vera Wang gowns. Even for a fake wedding Vera Wang is the go to designer for an amazing custom wedding dress. I can't wait to watch even though there are already dozens of spoilers out there!
