Supermodel Heidi Klum in Redemption for the Project Runway Finale fashion show during New York Fashion Week
Are you guys ready for the new season of Project Runway? Heidi Klum has been making the rounds to promote Season 10 which airs tonight on Lifetime! Here she is on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon talking about the show and some of its new contestants, have a look!
"We had some cowards on the show. I have to say, they never even said goodbye--The next day we pick up the designers and two are missing. We were like, ‘What happened to them?’ They had just walked off in the middle of the night…They weren’t cut out for it. They couldn’t make it work, as Tim always says.”--Heidi Klum
For a while now Rihanna has been spending a lot of time overseas in London. And no she wasn't there just to party but was actually filming her new reality show, Styled To Rock. The show debuts next month in August and will only be airing in the UK. As of now it's being compared to Project Runway and will feature several upcoming fashion designers who will compete to design looks for Rihanna and other celebs over a 10 week period. Not only is Rihanna serving as a fashion mentor on the show, she is also the Executive Producer. Other mentors on the show include RiRi's personal stylist Lysa Cooper, designer Henry Holland, and Nicola Roberts of UK girl-group, Girls Aloud.
Here she is stepping out with her co-star & designer Henry Holland
The judges of Project Runway actually got it right when they crowned Mondo as winner of Project Runway All Stars! I was so happy when he won, and it totally makes up for his disappointing loss back on season 8. In case you missed last night's finale, here is a recap of his big winning moment and some of his best looks from the competition.
Final Runway Looks
On Halloween the beautiful Heidi Klum to a break from partying and made an appearance on the Jimmy Fallon Show. For the interviw she wore a dress by former Project Runway contestant Daniel Vosovic (Season 2 runner-up). She completed the look with a pair of gorgeous Jimmy Choo shoes and her own jewelry.
Pt.1
Pt.2
The always gorgeous Heidi Klum made her umpteenth appearance on the Jay Leno show, dressed in Thomas Wylde and Louboutin heels!
Hands down, Christian Siriano has to be the most successful winner and contestant from Project Runway! I have to say that I honestly love him and it's so great to see him grow within the fashion world. Here is his Spring 2011 shoe collection and can you believe that they were exclusively designed for Payless!!! Can't wait to get a pair of my own, especially since they will be retailing for $60!
Tonight was the season finale of Project Runway Season 7 and I don't want to spoil it for anyone but.....Seth Aaron won! Congratulations to him. After watching the deliberation though I was a bit shocked and disappointed that Emilio did not win. It seemed like the judges really enjoyed his looks throughout the whole season and I just didn't expect this. Although he wasn't my favorite I think alot of people favored him to win. But congrats again to Seth Aaron, his collection was very well made and creative and I can't wait to see his future work. Who were some of your favorite designers of the season?
Seth Aaron was inspired by the 1940's German and Russian military. My favorite piece would have to be those yellow plaid pants. The model looked great in them when she walked down the runway.
Mila was inspired by dark shadows and shades of grey and designed her collection with a hip 60's feel. I liked most of her pieces and I thought they were very wearable. I just wish she would have added a little color.
Emilio Sosa was inspired by 90's graffiti and color, in fact he called this collection "Color Me Bad." I thought he did an okay job. Most of his pieces were alot different from has past work from the challenges but still nicely crafted as usual. My favorite piece was definitely this dress and the olive green coat with red lining.
This week Heidi Klum made an appearance on the Jay Leno--Tonight Show and she debuted her new hairstyle. A short shaggy bob with bangs which I don't think she's done before. Usually her signature hairstyle consists of long, blond layers and I like the new do, but I think it may have to grow on me.
"I got bored as we all do every once in a while as girls," she explained. "Whenever I get bored I change it. I grow it, I cut it. I grow it, I cut it" --Heidi
Not only did she show off her new hairstyle but she also talked about Project Runway. Tonight is actually the season finale and I really don't know who may win this time. I was really hoping for Jay but unfortunately he got cut at the last minute! But looking at the 3 finalists I would have to say that Emilio Sosa is the most talented and has also won the most challenges this season! Heidi Klum even wore one of his winning dresses to the Back-Up Plan movie premiere this week.
Earlier this month she also wore contestant Anthony Williams' dress on the April issue of Marie Claire
I am so sad that tonight will be the last and final episode of Ugly Betty. I really can't believe they are cancelling such a great show! I'm going to miss the characters and the clothes so much. They had one of the best cast and wardrobes on TV. I honestly don't know how groundbreaking and entertaining series like these go off the air, while countless of shows like For the Love of Ray-J (lol) stay on for years! Anyways, I hope you all tune in to watch the series finale, I know I won't miss it.
