This Monday I have to focus on Adam Gallagher, or "I Am Galla" as some of you may know him. I have been a fan of his blog for a couple of years now and I first noticed him long ago on Lookbook.nu--and it's hard to believe just how far along he has come in the fashion world! He started off as this young 17 year old, skater-looking guy and now looks like Mr. GQ. I love the way his style has evolved and I was even lucky enough to meet him while vacationing in Manhattan last week! He was so well dressed, and so handsome, that it was quite intimidating just to approach him and say hi! But I will say he turned out to be a nice guy and even gave me a little S/O on instagram---so this post is for him!
Thank You to all of you who follow me on Pinterest or pin items from my blog! I'm thrilled to now have 1000+ followers!
I have been so obsessed with beauty and fashion bloggers lately. Now, with Pinterest and Instagram I have discovered so many wonderful ladies who have truly inspired my own style and fashion choices throughout the year. Right now I'm loving blogger/stylist All Things Slim. Here are a few of her amazing looks if you're not already familiar with her style!
Speaking of shoes, here is a cool little DIY I found the other day. Studded shoes, or studded anything actually, has been quite popular for a while now--and I don't think the trend is going anywhere. So if you like studs like me, then this easy but cute DIY is for you. All you need is a pair of canvas shoes, glue, studs, and toothpicks! Also, if you want to try this out but don't want to experiment on an expensive pair of Vans or Keds, then you can head to Forever21 and grab a pair of canvas tennis shoes for only $6.50! I bought a pair in white but they also come in neon yellow and navy blue.
Start by squeezing a small amount of E6000(Glue) into a disposable container or onto a wooden popsicle stick. Dispensing a small amount at a time prevents the glue from drying too quickly. Using the tip of a toothpick, apply a small dollop of glue onto the back of a spike.
Press the spike into the sneaker, holding it in place for a few seconds.
Continue adding spikes along the shoe’s baseline and working upwards in horizontal lines.
Arrange the spikes, without glue, into awkward spaces before attaching them.
Glue spikes onto the heel cap, again working horizontally.
Allow the shoes to dry overnight before wearing them!

I feel like this post is long overdue but better late than never I guess. I wanted to share with you all a few of my favorite things I have in my closet. But first I have to say thanks to Polyvore who actually hooked me up with these amazing items! I joined their website almost two years ago and I do not regret it one bit. On Christmas day I was lucky enough to be featured in their Member Spotlight; where they showcased some of my sets and even mentioned my two blogs. So needless to say, the people at Polyvore have been very good to me--especially in 2011--and here are some of the best gifts I have received from them!

Giuseppe Swarovski Crystal Slingbacks I know all girls love Christian Louboutin but my personal favorite shoe designer is Giuseppe! I waited months to get these shoes and I am still in shock that they are actually mine. However, they are so beautiful and expensive that I am actually afraid to wear them lol! And I don't know how celebs do it because they are sky high, I really need to practice my walk!

Marc Jacobs 'Rio' Handbag I love, love, love Marc Jacobs so I was very thrilled to get this purse! The detailing is so beautiful and I'm a sucker for anything with exposed zippers. But because of all the zippers, studs, and material this purse is super heavy! But I still love it.

Tacori Black Onyx Ring This was probably one of the coolest and most exciting gifts I have received from Polyvore. Only because I was able to work with the people at Tacori and have it specially fitted since the ring was hand made for me! It took a while for them to finish but it was definitely worth the wait!
