How cute does Katherine Heigl look right here? She doesn't always get it right when it comes to fashion but I think she looks great in this Michael Kors zebra print dress at the “One for the Money” photo-call in Berlin. She finished off her look with a pair of nude Ferragamo pumps.
Take a look at Sarah Jessica Parker at the 2011 NYC Ballet Fall Gala. For the night she was on trend by wearing a LWD-- but for some reason this particular dress just screams cheap and dated to me! Is it just me or is anyone else not feeling this dress (from the Stella McCartney Spring 2012 collection)? Normally the style icon gets it right, but this time I think this dress looks horrible. It reminds me of something she would have worn in Sex & The City back in the 90's!...And don't get me started on the flower! What are your thoughts?
This week the beautiful Blake Lively stepped out on the Time 100 Gala red carpet in a seafoam green, Zuhair Murad gown. Not only did she look great in the dress, she also had amazing looking hair too. For the event she debuted her new red hair. What do you think? With the color of the dress and new hair color a lot of people are calling her the Little Mermaid lol! I love red hair gals, so I am a fan of the new look.
(Love this dress) Freida Pinto vs. Paris Hilton, both in Marchesa
Jessica Alba vs. Selita Ebanks, both in Valentino
Taylor Swift vs. Kate Bosworth, both in a lace dress from TopShop ($98)
I feel like it's been forever since I posted one of these, so here it goes! We have six stylish women and 3 of the same outfits. Who do you think looks best in each one?
The Glee's Naya Rivera and True Blood's Rutina Wesley in a printed Christoforos Kotentos dress. For this one I have to go with Naya because I think she is fierce and I love the random red shoes! But what do you think?
This is a hard one because I love them both and they are both so equally stylish. So here is Natalie Portman and Kim Kardashian in this Lanvin Hearts H&M dress. Who's your pick?
Kerry versus Kate. I'm not sure who wore it first but princess-to-be Kate Middleton surely made this Temperley London frock very popular. Although she may have worn it first, did she wear it better than the always stylish Kerry Washington?
Jessica Alba's style has really been on point this month! I can't stop blogging about her. Here she is again, this time in Paris, France with not one but two different looks of the day. The first look is of her at the Gucci/Vogue Paris Dinner hosted by Carine Roitfeld at the Hotel de la Rochefoucauld Doudeauville. She is in the most beautiful embellished one shoulder, cape gown by Gucci; And the second look is of her from earlier in the day, shopping around Paris just looking effortlessly cute!
Khloe Kardashian or Jessica Alba, who looks better? Khloe wore her Alexander McQueen gown recently to the People's Choice Awards and I thought she looked great, especially with the vibrant red hair. But Jessica wore her's first 3 years ago! I can't make up my mind, so what do you think?
Hayden Panetierre or Taraji P. Henson? Same Elizabeth & James dress but two different completely stylings. While I love leather jackets and booties, Hayden just looks all bad. Hands down Taraji got it right with the gold YSL heels and less-is-more styling!
Kim Kardashian or Kate Beckinsale? I love this dress and I love both these ladies--but with the two different body types, I didn't even realize it was the same dress at first! Kate wore the Nina Ricci gown first and Kim wore it recently to a Golden Globes after party. Who do you think looks better because it's a tie for me!
Ashanti or Katy Perry? Here is another close call. Both ladies looked pretty good in this Issa one-shoulder dress but my vote goes to Katy, by an inch! I just like how the bodice part fits her and her shape works better with the dress in my opinion.
Purple has always been my favorite color and that's why I am hoping that this trend will really take off. Jewel colored plum dresses have been very popular on the red carpet lately and here are a few of my favorite looks. And of course, when it comes to fashion and setting trends, Blake Lively has to be one of the forerunners for making this trend catch on!
Nicole Richie in a velvet minidress by Emilio Pucci with a vintage Chanel bag and House of Harlow 1960 “Nell” open-toe Pumps
Blake Lively in a Marchesa Spring 2011 RTW Stencil dress with Lorraine Schwartz Turquoise Drop Earrings, Dangle Bead Bracelet and Burberry Ruched Strap Platforms
Carey Mulligan in a Prada ametista jacquard lurex cocktail dress from the Fall 2011-Collection with Cartier jewels and YSL Pumps
Here is another Hervé Léger spotting! I just love these dresses! This one is from the Fall/Winter 2010/11 Collection and Maggie Q. (from Nakita) wore it last week to the People's Choice Awards. Once I saw her in this dress I knew she deserved her very own post!
Once again Kim Kardashian stole the style spotlight at her NYE party at TAO in Las Vegas in this sexy sequined white dress by Marc Bower. While big sis Kourtney Kardashian, in this one-shoulder aqua-blue gown, hosted CIROC’s New Years Eve 2011 party in Miami. I don't really have to say it, but who do you think looks best? And better yet, who would you rather have partied with!?
Kim K with her brother Rob Kardashian as her date
Ps. Where in the world was Khloe!
I now live just 5 minutes away from a Forever 21 and it's becoming a real problem for me. I am there all the time, which is a bit sad since it's only been open for a week! But that's beside point. The good part is that I have now found a few LBDs that I could wear on New Year's Eve. I love little black dresses and I already own a ton but I can't help but to buy another. Here are a few that I like so help me decide which one is the best!
Embellished Capsleeve Dress
$27.80
$27.80
I like this one but it's a bit plain and pricey
Velour One Shoulder Dress
$17.80
$17.80
I really want a one-shoulder dress but this looks way better on the model than in the stores
I can't decide if I like this dress or just the way the model rocked it!
This one is my favorite but I'm afraid it my be too simple in the front...but I love the back!
