A couple of weeks ago Oprah dedicated an episode of her show to shoes, handbags, and accessories. According to Oprah and her team, there are six essential shoes and boots that every woman and stylish girl must have in her closet. Looking at my own shoe collection, I think that I have made O proud. Here is the list and let me know if you agree or disagree with her fashion law. The women in my life are always asking me for fashion tips and where to shop. So the other day I took the time to take my mother out shopping. She is always going through my closet and trying to borrow my things or copy my style. Recently I talked her into buying a few pairs of boots since she is always asking about my own; and now all she needs is a new outfit to go with them. Right now she has a pair of grey suede calf-high boots, black leather knee-high Steve Madden boots, and black buckle booties by Madden girl. I would love to help dress my mother but she is so picky and difficult to shop for. However, I did manage to find a few things for myself lol.

My new favorite dress by TakeOut, $20

I know pink is in, and so are neon brights, but I could never give up my favorite color, purple. It's not just one shade but all shades of purple but what is most popular are deep purples and plums. If you are not into purple perhaps you can try adding it into your accessories, rather than your entire wardrobe. The color is really popular among shoes and boots/booties.
