As usual, I found myself shopping at Target this week. I didn't really need anything but just wanted to head into the store to look around. And I am happy to say that I came across some liquid eyeliner by e.l.f (eyes.lips.face) cosmetics for only a $1! Since I am a bit new at wearing liquid eyeliner I just wanted to find something that was inexpensive that I could practice with.

Beginning this month Target began to sell e.l.f in their stores and the prices are only $1, $3, $5 and $10 for some foundation/brush kits. Because of the price these items are always selling out quick, and that is so why I am so excited about my eyeliner! Earlier this month I was lucky enough to buy an eyeshadow kit and a few makeup brushes, but even then I had to fight off a few women for those. If you are on a budget or just playing around with a few looks, head down to Target and get a few e.l.f items, or just head to their website.

Sure Rihanna showed up 3 hours fashionably late to her own album release party, but the important part is that she showed up looking so fly! We all know that it can take some time getting ready, especially when you want to look good. Here are her two looks from this week (Nov.24 & 25). Oh-and please check out her shoes for the gold outfit!

Rihanna on her own style: [[ I like playing with the tough but not too tough, and being a lady but not too girlie because that’s not me. I kind of play on both. I like things a little twisted, a bit of a bad ass and a bit of lady]]

Both dresses are by The Blonds for Noir Jewelry.

In the November/December issue of Glamour magazine Miranda Kerr is featured in one of their many spreads, sharing her best fashion tips on how to dress down and still look "sexy". This girl is so adorable and she is really starting to grow on me! Don't forget to watch her on the upcoming Victoria's Secret runway show December 1.

I have been seeing this commercial more and more lately, and my first thought that it was for a clothing store or some new fashion line. But to my surprise it was a commercial for Amazon Kindle! It's very cute and has a lot of stylish clothing. Here it goes!

This weekend I just really wanted to get out of the house and ended up going to Barnes & Nobles. After religiously checking out some of my favorite fashion magazines I decided to head to my favorite section (the photography/art section) and came across this book called, THE WORLD IN VOGUE: PEOPLE, PARTIES, PLACES. I really became hooked on this book and went back today to purchase it!

The book features 300 photographs of models, celebrities, fashionistas and other fabulous people from the pages of Vogue magazine. It also includes various stories and candid pictures that did not make it to publication. Overall the book is very interesting and has some of the best fashion photography I have ever seen. Please, please, please, check it out and read more about it at Amazon or my new fave blog!

Recently these two ladies hit up two seperate red carpet events and needless to say I fell in love with both of their outfits. I want them both so badly and hopefully I can find some great alternatives for them. I am such a huge fan of Kim Kardashian's style and Fergie's is beyond cute. Here are the two looks that I admire so much.

It's no secret that purple is my favorite color. For the past few months I have been on a search for the best purple eyeshadow. Obviously I could have went to MAC or Sephora and grabbed a shade from there, however what I do best is shop on a budget and we all know that MAC can be a bit pricey! So to my delight, I was able to find a trio palette by Rimmel London called Dark Angel. It's a new shade that just came out and I bought it at my local Target. Rimmel has some great makeup products and I am now a huge fan, thanks to my mother who turned me on to the brand about a year ago. And you know it must be great if they have Kate Moss as their spokesmodel!

What good is dressing up if you don't complete the look with great makeup? A smoky eye, with a hint of purple, is always my favorite look. Here are a few makeup tips for rocking a shade of purple.

This clip is a prelude to the new documentary, "Blue Gold", which follows the selling of vintage American denim in Japan and other parts of the world. This film looks so interesting and I can't wait to see the whole thing. It's fashion meets globalization. All this time I thought that I was addicted to shopping, but these people are on another level!

Lately I have been doing a lot of shopping and so I thought this weekend would be a good time to clean out my closet and make room for my new clothes. After hours of cleaning I still have a longs ways to go, and two more closets to clear out...However, I did manage to put together a few outfits from the different pieces a rediscovered in my messy closet. Check out some of the looks and let me know what you think! Ps: you can also see me on Chictopia.
