This is the first time that a black woman is featured on the front of the fashion mag's September publication since Naomi Campbell in 1989! I honestly love the cover. I love Halle Berry period! But some people are downing the cover for some reason just because Halle isn't a model. Seriously, who cares! She looks great and the magazine is going to be a success anyways and that's all that matters. Check out Halle Berry for Vogue, sporting her best Anna Wintour hair-do!
On being asked to be on the cover of the September issue of Vogue: "What that means for a woman of color and what that means in the fashion world, what that means to pop culture, there was no way I could say, 'No I'm not going to be on the biggest issue of the year.'"
